This website ("the Site") is operated by TE-MA ROMANIA S.R.L. ("TE-MA" or "the Company"). TE-MA may be referred to in this Policy as "we", "us" or "our".

This Personal Data Privacy Policy aims to inform you about:
(a) the personal data processing activities concerning you, as a visitor of the Site;
(b) the processing of personal data carried out by the Company in order to conduct its activities as described below.
III. Meaning of certain terms used in this Policy
Personal data means any information that identifies you directly or indirectly, especially by reference to an identifier such as: name, surname, contact details, etc.
Processing means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or sets of personal data, with or without the use of automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or modification, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, deletion or destruction.
Personal data controller designates the capacity held by the Company in processing your personal data, according to the provisions of this Policy.
Data subject designates the person whose data is processed by the Company, according to the provisions of this Policy.
Processor designates the entity that processes personal data on behalf of the Controller.

6.1. How does the Company collect your personal data?

In this regard, the Company may collect your personal data through the following means and communication channels:

6.2.2. Initiating and developing business relationships
To identify collaboration opportunities and communicate with potential business partners.
In this context, the Company may use publicly available contact data exclusively for professional purposes and only in situations where it reasonably appears that the data subjects act on behalf of a legal entity.
The contacted persons may request the cessation of communications at any time, and their data will be removed from the Company's database.
6.2.3. Managing access to the premises and security of spaces
To ensure the security of persons, goods and Company premises through the use of CCTV systems and visitor registration systems.
6.2.4. Compliance with legal obligations and cooperation with authorities
To fulfill legal obligations and manage inspections or requests from competent authorities.
6.2.5. Plugins for Facebook, YouTube
In order to continuously optimize functionality and provide easy use, the Site uses the plugins listed below.
You can recognize the plugins by the Facebook or YouTube logos inserted on our Site. When you click on each logo, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the servers of Meta (which owns Facebook) and Google Ireland Limited (which owns YouTube). In this way, Facebook/YouTube are informed that you have used our online services with your IP address. When you click the "share" or "repost" buttons while logged into your Facebook / YouTube accounts, you can link the content of our online service to your Facebook / YouTube user accounts. Facebook / YouTube will then be able to associate the use of the Site with your user account. We would like to emphasize that the use of your personal data through the Facebook / YouTube pages is subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policies established by those companies, over which the Company has no control or responsibility. We will process your personal data, such as your name and surname, image, username, IP address and, where applicable, e-mail address, phone number and any other information or details you communicate to us, when you decide to interact with us through social media channels such as Facebook / YouTube. Each social media platform has its own data privacy policy. If you have any questions regarding the use of your personal data by these platforms, or for information about the purpose or scope of personal data collected and processed by these social media platforms, as well as about your rights and configuration options to protect your privacy, please consult their privacy policies.
6.2.7. Other situations of personal data processing by the Company
The Company also collects personal data in certain specific situations where you interact with us outside the Site. Such situations may include:
(i) handing over your business card or that of another person to someone representing or interacting with you on behalf of the Company;
(ii) when you interact with us as a representative/designated person of a contractual partner for the conduct of commercial relations;

(b) other categories of data subjects (e.g., employees of the Company).
The above-mentioned processing operations are regulated through specific information notices communicated directly to the data subjects, in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
6.3. Legal basis for processing
The processing operations carried out by the Company are based on:
(i) The legitimate interest of the Company, consisting of:
- ensuring easy navigation within the Site;
- ensuring interaction with persons interested in the information published on the social media profiles managed by the Company and providing responses to questions, complaints or requests sent through social media channels;
- ensuring interaction with interested persons through social media channels;
- maintaining a good relationship with persons interested in contacting members of the Company by any chosen method;
- taking the necessary steps to conclude, execute and, where applicable, terminate commercial contracts concluded by the Company with its business partners;
- formulating responses and providing information to persons who contact us;
- promoting events organized and carried out by the Company through the creation and publication on social media networks of photos and video content captured during such events;
(ii) Fulfillment of legal obligations
- for compliance with applicable legal obligations (e.g. ensuring the security of persons, goods and Company premises based on Law 333/2003 regarding the security of objectives, goods, values and protection of persons);
- for cooperation with public authorities;
(iii) The consent of the Data Subject,
- for the use of cookies on the Site.
6.4. How long does the Company retain your personal data?
The Company retains your personal data in accordance with the retention periods imposed by applicable laws and regulations, particularly for the purpose of carrying out its activities, and does not retain personal data longer than necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected.
In particular, the Company may store your personal data for the following periods:
- personal data collected through cookies placed on the Site are retained for the time periods indicated in the Cookie Policy;
- data we receive from you when you contact us through any communication method chosen by you for reasons related to your professional activity or for any other interests you may have, as well as data we receive from you following contact initiated by us in accordance with this Privacy Policy, are kept by the Company for a period of 3 years from the moment they are transmitted to the Company, except where the Data Subject acquires a specific status through the relationship formed with the Company and different retention periods apply (e.g. the Data Subject becomes the representative of a business partner with whom the Company concludes a product supply contract);
- personal data received when you provide us with your business card or any other presentation material will be retained by the Company for a period of 3 years from the moment the data are provided, unless the Data Subject acquires a specific status through the relationship formed with the Company and different retention periods apply;
- personal data processed through video surveillance systems (CCTV), consisting of images of persons accessing the Company's premises or perimeter, are retained for a limited period proportional to the purpose of the processing, but generally not exceeding 30 days from the recording date, except in situations where a longer storage period is necessary for establishing, exercising or defending a legal claim, or for resolving security incidents or requests from competent authorities.
For Data Subjects for whom a specific information notice is provided, such as employees or staff of the Company's commercial partners, the information in this Policy is supplemented by the information provided in the specific notice regarding the retention periods of personal data processed by the Company.
6.5. Who are the recipients of your personal data?
Employees of the Company who work with teams responsible for maintaining relationships with persons interacting with the Company, ensuring compliance and the functioning of IT mechanisms may access your personal data in accordance with and within the limits of their job responsibilities.
The Company does not transfer data to third parties other than its service providers and the entities mentioned in this Policy. For Data Subjects for whom a specific information notice is provided, such as shareholders/employees/commercial partners of the Company, the information in this Policy is supplemented by the information provided in the specific notice regarding the recipients of personal data processed by the Company.
Entities to whom we may disclose personal data include:
(i) for operating the Site and purposes related to the use of cookies, we may transmit personal data to IT service providers and maintenance providers;
(ii) to ensure the promotion of events organized and carried out by the Company, we may transmit data to service providers with whom the Company collaborates for marketing, advertising and PR activities;
The Company may also need to transfer personal data to third parties (i) when we receive a request from a judicial authority or public authority, auditors or institutions competent to perform checks regarding the Company's activities or assets according to applicable legal provisions; such authorities or institutions may include: ANSPDCP, ANAF, public notaries, bailiffs, etc.; (ii) to comply with a legal requirement or to protect the rights and assets of the Company or another entity or person, we may disclose personal data to lawyers or mediators; (iii) third-party buyers, if the Company's activity could be transferred, in whole or in part, and the personal data of Data Subjects would form part of the assets subject to the transaction; (iv) companies that administer and act as controllers such as Facebook or YouTube.
The Company ensures the confidentiality and security of personal data during their transfer to the recipients mentioned above.
In the context of the operations described above, in principle, your personal data will not be transferred abroad to countries within the European Union or the European Economic Area.
VII. Security measures
The Company implements all appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk and, in particular, to protect personal data against destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access.
The same level of protection is contractually imposed by the Company on processors.
The Company informs you through this Policy that it continuously evaluates and updates the implemented security measures in order to ensure the security and safety of personal data processing activities.
VIII. Exercising your rights
In the context of the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights:
- the right to information, namely the right to be informed about the processing of your personal data;
- the right of access to data, namely the right to obtain from the data controller, upon request and free of charge, confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed and, if so, access to those data and relevant information regarding the processing;
- the right to rectification, namely the right to obtain, upon request and free of charge, the correction of inaccurate data concerning you, as well as the completion of incomplete data;
- the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), namely the right to obtain, upon request and free of charge, where legal conditions are met, the deletion of personal data concerning you. Following a deletion request, the Company may anonymize these data (thus removing their personal character) and continue processing them for statistical purposes;
- the right to restriction of processing, namely the right to obtain, upon request and free of charge, where legal conditions are met, the marking of stored personal data in order to limit their future processing;
- the right to data portability, namely the right to receive, upon request and free of charge, personal data concerning you that you have provided to the Company, as well as the right to have those data transmitted to another data controller where legal conditions are met;
- the right to object, namely the right to object at any time, for legitimate and justified reasons related to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you, under the conditions provided by law;
- the right not to be subject to an individual automated decision, namely the right to request and obtain the withdrawal, cancellation or reassessment of any decision based solely on automated processing (including profiling) that produces legal effects concerning you or significantly affects you in a similar manner;
- the right to address the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing according to the details available at www.dataprotection.ro
or the competent courts for the defense of any rights guaranteed by applicable legislation, where necessary.
